Beyond a gift online, you can give in the way that works best for you.
Give from your IRA
If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a tax-advantaged gift directly from your IRA to the Latino Academy of Workforce Development.
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows you to transfer funds directly from your IRA to Latino Academy without counting the distribution as taxable income, subject to IRS rules and annual limits. Your QCD may also count toward your required minimum distribution.
It’s easy to give:
- Contact your IRA administrator and request a Qualified Charitable Distribution to the Latino Academy of Workforce Development.
- Ask that the check be made payable directly to the Latino Academy of Workforce Development.
- Have the distribution sent to:
Please include your name and contact information with the gift so we can properly acknowledge your contribution.
Please note: QCDs must be made directly from the IRA to the eligible charitable organization. Because tax rules can vary based on individual circumstances, please consult your financial advisor or tax professional to determine whether a QCD is right for you.
