The Latino Academy’s English as a Second Language (ESL) program helps non-native speakers strengthen essential skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

High School Equivalency Diploma
The High School Equivalency program, offered in partnership with Madison College, provides Spanish-speaking adults with multiple pathways to earn their high school equivalency diploma in a supportive and culturally responsive setting.

- Angelina joined the Latino Academy to work on her high school equivalency diploma and build a better future. With the support of her instructors, she also received help creating her resume, which boosted her confidence in pursuing new job opportunities. Her experience at the Academy showed her that personal growth and education are possible at any age. “I'm very motivated to keep going and bettering myself,” she says.

From earning her GED to improving her English and gaining her ServSafe certificate, she’s seen tangible growth both personally and in her business. “These programs helped me make connections that led to work and better communication with my community,” she shares.
