SERVSAFE TRAINING
The Latino Academy’s ServSafe Certification program is a food safety training course led by a certified ServSafe Proctor and designed for individuals working or seeking to work in food service. Topics include foodborne illness prevention, proper food handling, sanitation, and regulatory compliance. Certification is awarded after passing the ServSafe exam.

Enrollment Requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a basic understanding of food preparation or interest in food safety. No prior certification is necessary, but participants must be prepared to study course materials and complete the final exam.
Tuition and Fees
The ServSafe Certification program costs $175 per participant. This includes all course materials, instruction, and the proctored certification exam. Retesting fees may apply if certification is not passed on the first attempt.


Schedule and Format
ServSafe training sessions are conducted in person on a recurring basis, with dates scheduled based on community demand. Each session includes a comprehensive review of key food safety principles, followed by a proctored certification exam. Participants are encouraged to arrive prepared and stay for the full duration to meet certification requirements.
