Brief Job Description

The CDL Trainer plays an essential role in delivering comprehensive training for students enrolled in LAWD’s CDL program. This position is responsible for preparing students to succeed in the classroom and behind the wheel by providing instruction, mentorship, and guidance. The Trainer works closely with the Director, Transportation Manager, and other staff to ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, while maintaining a safe, positive, and welcoming learning environment.
