ESL Coordinator: The ESL Workplace Coordinator is primarily responsible for successfully guiding students to gain ESL proficiency so they can advance toward their employment and educational career goals. This position will coordinate ESL Workplace programs by developing meaningful relationships to motivate students, assist in developing student career pathways, and connecting students to family sustaining career opportunities. The person in this position will support program reports by collecting and appropriately filing the required data. The ESL Workplace Coordinator must be bilingual (English/Spanish), flexible and passionate about adult education and an advocate for students of the Latino Academy. Workforce Development Coordinator: The Workforce Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for successfully guiding students to obtain industry specific credentials and advance toward their employment career goals through Latino Academy’s workforce tracks which include Transportation, Manufacturing, Construction, Information Technology and Green Energy. This position coordinates the needs and delivery of our training programs by developing meaningful relationships, motivating and assisting students in developing career pathways, and connecting them to family sustaining career opportunities. Coordinators also support program reports by collecting and appropriately managing the required data. The Workforce Development Coordinator must be fluently bilingual in English and Spanish, flexible and passionate about adult education, and advocate for students and the mission of Latino Academy. This role involves coordinating the GED/HSED programs by building meaningful relationships, motivating students, developing career pathways, and linking them to sustainable career opportunities. The coordinator will also manage program data and support reporting requirements. CDL Trainer: The CDL Program Instructor/Trainer is an essential member of our educational team at the Latino Academy, tasked with providing expert training to participants enrolled in our Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program.
