FORKLIFT SAFETY TRAINING
The Latino Academy’s Forklift Certification program equips participants with the skills and certification needed to safely operate a forklift in professional environments such as warehousing, construction, and manufacturing. The training includes hands-on instruction, safety procedures, equipment inspection, and load handling techniques. Participants must pass both a written and a practical exam to earn their certification, which is widely recognized by employers.
Please note: This course is for individuals who already know how to drive a forklift. It does not teach basic forklift driving skills but focuses on certification and safety standards required for workplace compliance.

Enrollment Requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old and must already have prior experience operating a forklift in a professional or supervised setting. This course is not designed to teach forklift operation; instead, it verifies safety knowledge and operational readiness for certification. Participants must be able to demonstrate competency and follow all safety protocols during the training.
Tuition and Fees
The cost of the Forklift Certification program is $50 per participant. This fee includes all training materials, instruction, and both the written and practical certification exams. Scholarships or financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
Schedule and Format
Training sessions are offered in person at the Latino Academy throughout the year. The schedule is flexible and based on participant demand. Each session includes classroom instruction, guided demonstrations, and hands-on operation of a forklift under instructor supervision.
