About the event
This informational session will give you an inside look at the Latino Academy’s Artisanal Butchery Program—a hands-on training opportunity designed for those interested in sustainable meat processing, knife skills, food safety, and working with local producers. You'll learn what it means to be an artisanal butcher, what the training includes, and how the program can help open doors to long-term employment in a growing field.
We’ll walk you through the structure of the course, the skills you’ll gain, and the job placement support available to participants. Staff will be on hand to answer your questions about eligibility, registration, and class schedules. Whether you’re looking to build a career or gain new technical skills, this is a great opportunity to see if the program is a good fit for you.
The session is free and open to all. Spanish interpretation will be provided.
