ENGLISH FOR THE WORKPLACE

The Latino Academy’s English for the Workplace program helps businesses and employees improve the communication skills essential for success on the job. Through customized instruction delivered directly at the worksite, participants build job-specific vocabulary, strengthen workplace interactions, and develop greater confidence in professional settings. Classes are tailored to the needs of each employer, ensuring that employees gain practical language skills they can immediately apply in their roles.

Enrollment Requirements

Enrollment in our English for the Workplace program requires a partnership agreement with an employer. Classes are arranged on-site, and participating employees must be selected or approved by their employer. No prior English proficiency level is required; instruction is customized based on employees’ assessed needs and skill levels.

Tuition and Fees

Program costs for English for the Workplace are determined through an agreement with the employer. Pricing varies based on the number of participants, class schedule, and curriculum needs. Employers are responsible for covering the costs associated with instruction.

Schedule and Format

​Class schedules are flexible and arranged according to employer needs. Sessions are held in person at the job site and focus on building job-specific communication skills through practical, tailored instruction.
