GED/HSED Program
The GED/HSED program, offered in partnership with Madison College, provides spanish-speaking students with multiple pathways to earn their high school equivalency diploma. This program supports educational independence and opens doors to higher education and career opportunities.
What You’ll Learn

Core subjects: Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading & Writing in Spanish, Civics, Employability, and Health.

Steps to Enroll

Fill out an application form.

Attend an orientation session to learn about program details.

Complete placement tests in Spanish and math to determine your academic level.

Participate in two basic computer training sessions.
Class Format
Who’s This For?

Spanish-speaking adults aged 18.5+ who do not have a U.S. high school diploma.

Individuals seeking to improve career opportunities, access higher education, or complete their secondary education.
Student Expectations

Attend all classes as scheduled.

Cost
Enrollment Requirements

Must have lived in Wisconsin for at least the past 10 days.

Cannot be enrolled in high school or already hold a U.S. high school diploma.
Schedule

Online: Tuesday/Thursday, 5:30 PM–8:30 PM

In-Person (Morning): Tuesday/Thursday, 9 AM–12 PM

In-Person (Afternoon): Monday/Wednesday, 4 PM–8 PM

Virtual classes conducted via Zoom.

Interactive sessions with access to online coursework via Blackboard.
